Whenever a workplace includes a confined space, it is important that all workers complete Confined Spaces training as well as workplace-specific training. This online course presents the characteristics of a confined space, the risks associated with working in this type of space, and the prescribed methods for limiting these risks. It also presents the documentation required for working in a confined space.

  • Online: 2 to 3 hours

Whenever a workplace includes a confined space, it is important that all workers complete Confined Spaces training as well as workplace-specific training. This online course presents the characteristics of a confined space, the risks associated with working in this type of space, and the prescribed methods for limiting these risks. It also presents the documentation required for working in a confined space.

The participant must pass the assessment at the end of each module in order to move on to the next. Individuals who score less than 100% may review the content and retake the assessment as many times as necessary to pass the course.

On successful completion of the module test, participants can print out a copy of their certificate for their records.

ONLY

This online course must be offered to all individuals working in a workplace with a confined space. It meets the training requirements.
Note: Successful completion of the Confined Space Precautions course is NOT a substitute for employer-provided workplace-specific training.
