EMERGENCY FIRST AID and CPR/AED Level A-C – BLENDED LEARNING

CPR A: 6.5 hours OR 3.5 hours in class and 4 hours online learning*

RCR C: 7.5 hours in class OR 4.5 hours in class and 4 hours of online learning**

*The duration of the online component depends on each participant.

Demonstrate mastery of techniques and critical steps.

Obtain a passing grade of 75% on the written knowledge assessment.

Attend and participate in the entire course.

Emergency First Aid and CPR Level A or C certificate, valid for three years

A one-day basic course that provides lifesaving first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for the workplace or home. The course meets provincial and territorial legislative requirements for workplace safety and insurance and includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines.

This course is divided into two parts:online and in-class

  • The first part ($50.61), online (non-refundable), lasting 4 hours must be completed before the second in-class session. You will receive your online training on Friday, 3 weeks before your in-person training, if it is scheduled more than a month away. Otherwise, on the Friday after your registration.
  • The second part ($39.34), in class, lasting 4 hours must be completed within 6 weeks of the online training.

Once your registration is complete, you will receive a link from the Red Cross, 3 weeks before your in-person date to begin your online course at your own pace (follow the instructions provided in the email).

Upon successful completion of the online component, you will receive a certificate of completion, recording the 45-day timeframe you have to complete the in-class course (Part 2) and obtain your certification, which is valid for three years.
