Valid Digital Airway Management Certificate

3 years, issued upon successful completion of the course.

Course lasting 6 to 8 hours including CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and the use of the AED (Automated External Defibrillator) for children and babies, as well as the management of severe allergies.

This course is designed for those involved in the field of child education in CPE, Daycares, Schools as well as day camp facilitators or any person/parent responsible for child(ren) and wishing to know how to provide first aid to a child.

This course meets the standards of the Ministry of Family, the Ministry of Education and the Association des Camps du Québec.

This course provides participants with the knowledge and skills needed to ensure a patent airway, intervene to maintain a patent airway, and use available equipment to perform these techniques. Participants will also acquire the knowledge and skills required to perform appropriate interventions, including how to measure and insert the appropriate breathing device for the patient’s condition. The course can also be combined with Lifesaving Resuscitation (LVR) training, which leads to an additional certificate.
