Description
Bears are fascinating animals and usually quite calm, but they are also powerful carnivores capable of causing significant property damage and serious injury to humans. They must therefore be treated with respect. This course covers general questions regarding this animal, safety procedures for personnel working in the field as well as proper methods for establishing and maintaining a safe encampment.

Participants can progress at their own pace, interrupt the course at any time and pick up where they left off. The duration therefore varies depending on the pace and prior knowledge of each person.

Success criteria
The participant must pass the evaluation at the end of each module to be able to move on to the next module. Individuals who do not obtain a 100% grade may review the content and repeat the assessment as many times as necessary to pass the course.

Certificate
After passing the module test, the participant will be able to print a copy of their certificate and keep it in their files.
