DESCRIPTION
Prevention is the best way to reduce the risk of encourntering a bear.  Don’t wait until you’re in front of the animal to ask yourself how to avoid il.  The Bear Beware : Traveling in Bear Country course provide general information about bears, their habits and behaviors.  It will also discuss ways to avoid any encounters, as well as steps to take to increase your chances of survival in the event of an encounter or attack,

The course is for anyone travelling or camping in bear country.

Success criteria
The participant will be required to complete an evaluation at the end of the module.  Individuals who do not obtain a 100 % grade may review the content and repeat the assessment as many times as necessary to pass the course.

Certificate
After passing the module test, the participant will be able to print a copy of their certificate and keep it in their files.
