A one-day core course that provides life-saving first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) techniques for the workplace or home. The course meets provincial and territorial legislative requirements for workplace safety and insurance and includes the latest guidelines for first aid and CPR.

Obtain a passing score of 75% on the written knowledge assessment.

Attend and participate in the entire course.



Emergency First Aid Certificate and CPR Level A or C, valid for three years

Certificate Renewal*

CPR A: 4 hours in class OR 3 hours in class + 4 hours of online learning**

CPR C: 5 hours in class OR 4 hours in class + 4 hours of online learning**

*Certificate renewal is not available in all provinces and territories.

This course is divided into 2 parts :
online and classroom

  1. The first part ($48.61), online (non-refundable), lasting 4 hours must be completed before the second part in class. You will receive your online training on Friday, 3 weeks before the scheduled face-to-face date.
  2. The second part ($38.57), in class, lasting 4 hours must be completed within 6 weeks following the online training

As soon as your registration, is complete, you will receive a link from the Red Cross 3 weeks before your classroom training to start your online course at your own pace (follow the instructions provided in the email).

Upon successful completion of the online component, you will receive a certificate, Write down the time you have to complete the in class course (part 2) and obtain your certification valid for 3 years.
